In the past i’ve not been as interested in body care as I have with face care. However, about a year ago I began to think of body care the same way I thought of facial care.
Today I prioritize both equally, which is very important for everyone to do, otherwise we will be able to differentiate between facial skin and body skin. We all want to have a nice clean and solid colored skin. Some choose to only take care of the body skin during summer, since we show more skin, but the body needs care all year round like our face.
On a daily basis I use Ole Henriksen products for the face and body, but I think it is too expensive for the long run, so I found an alternative way. I love natural products and like to make them by myself so I know what the ingredients are and it is also much healthier. My body care products are now almost all replaced with my homemade body scrubs.
1 Sugar, honey, turmeric, sandlewood oil, olive oil.
This is my favorite scrub ☺ Turmeric and sandlewood are rich in anti-oxidant and have lots of benefits. Olive oil is rich in vitamin E and Honey is a good moisturizer and makes our skin radiant.
2 Sugar, peppermint oil, almond oil.
This scrub is a good refresher for a stressed or tired body. Peppermint oil loosens up the skin and allows the body to relax. Almond oil is rich in vitamin E and makes our skin very moisturized.
3 Sugar, coffee grain, tea tree oil, chamomile oil, aloe vera gel.
This scrub is good to get the blood flowing around the body and is very effective against stretch marks. Coffee, tea tree oil, chamomile oil and aloe vera gel is good for firming the skin and gives the skin more elasticity.
